With cannabis remaining classified as a Schedule I drug under the federal Controlled Substances Act in the United States, legal concerns for clinicians practicing cannabinoid medicine remain high. Join us for this informational session when SCC member Richard Cheng, JD CHC will share what he has learned about the issues that healthcare professionals face when entering this clinical realm.

The SCC is excited to announce the alliance with INCBA (the International Cannabis Bar Association), a membership organization led by Christopher Davis. Their mission is to raise the standard of legal services available to the cannabis industry, to advocate for the lawyers’ right to represent cannabis industry participants, and to help build a solid foundation upon which the cannabis industry can sustainably thrive for years to come. Through our alliance, SCC will serve as a resource to INCBA members providing research studies and medical expertise for clinical cases. Also INCBA members will address questions from SCC members facing legal issues and provide pro bono support when available.
